DESCRIPTION
A Mediterranean courtyard. A pool kiosk.
A 1960s apartment is transformed into a courtyard dwelling where the common areas are located in direct contact with the existing terrace, recreating one of the traditional courtyard-squares of the area.
The open communal areas of lounge, dining room and kitchen are bordered by lineal yellow motifs, drawing a separation between public and private spaces. The finishes evoke the long, bright Mediterranean summers, creating a timeless and refreshing atmosphere. In the middle of this open space, the kitchen takes the shape of an independent sculptural element, reminiscent of a summer kiosk.
